Refunk Your Junk Opening Times, Recycle Your Furniture

Opening: Wednesday, 10th June 2009. ~ 11am - 5pm
Feel free to just turn up and have a mooch around, have a chat or even a coffee.

Studio/Gallery: Opening Hours (Commencing 10/06/09)

Monday ~ Closed
Tuesday ~ Appointment Only / Delivery & Collection Day
Wednesday ~ 11am - 5pm
Thursday ~ 11am - 5pm
Friday ~ Appointment Only / Delivery & Collection Day
Saturday ~ 11am - 5pm
Sunday ~ 11am - 5pm

Don't expect Harrods... Think Brick lane, South Bank, Camden; more so think Ouseburn and all will be good..

In our Studio / Gallery you will find various items from Refunk Your Junk Designers, these may be refreshed, redesigned, may include unique artwork and will generally be refunked furniture, mirrors and possibly a whole host of "Home & Garden" items to follow in the future. All designed items will also be available on our website within the next few weeks.

**Please note Recycle Your Furniture - 2nd hand items runs mainly online and stock is mainly kept within storage, we will be more than happy to arrange viewings of these items but please have a look at our website shop of the items we currently have on offer.

If you would preferably like to have a little look around before the 10th June 2009, please give us a call (07527083720 / 0191 222 0212).

Further extended opening times will come in due course, we are regularly working in the premises so viewings out side of these opening hours can easily be arranged.

Final Note: Just a quick reminder
This venture has been set up and aims to be entirely funded by the sales of recycled refunked furniture and recycled second hand furniture items, if you have any items you wish to donate please give us a call and we will happily arrange for a collection.

outside slowly being cleaned up..

Well last couple of days has seen one fab new designers come on board Katia, who has a background of furniture creation and already started to rip a part a over used telephone table to refunk.

Rae is still; striving forward with some fantastic art work on several pieces at once, all very different aswell.

Claire has returned from a short break away, and has dived straight back into her creations, including a really cute re-covering project and and a new trolley style table that looks like it will be very stylish in black. I actually feel there is a bit of structure now she is back, and she has us all starting at 10am again :-)

Pamela has been in today giving me some extra website support and varnishing her first piece that is looking really good.

Friday tomorrow: We have a new lad joining luckily will balance the numbers a bit, Mike has shown us some very funky and cool recycled musical instruments he has made at home - watch this space and our designers board for more information on his pieces and were his creativity unfolds in furniture.

Still aiming to come back and tell you how we got this far, and promise i will be back in the not too distant future with an update.

Main roller shutter has finally been painted, much to the shock of our landlord.. Think he was after blue to match his car!!. sorry P (its only an undercoat i promise).

Thanks to the lovely lady we collected a few items from today in Fenham, Not all the designers have seen them yet, but i am pritty sure something great will come of them very soon. Maybe even a Strawberry coverd Ercol chair!! 60's funk
