All designed items will also be available on our website within the next few weeks.

**Please note Recycle Your Furniture - 2nd hand items runs mainly online and stock is mainly kept within storage, we will be more than happy to arrange viewings of these items but please have a look at our website shop of the items we currently have on offer.

If you would preferably like to have a little look around before the 10th June 2009, please give us a call (07527083720 / 0191 222 0212).

Further extended opening times will come in due course, we are regularly working in the premises so viewings out side of these opening hours can easily be arranged.

Final Note: Just a quick reminder
This venture has been set up and aims to be entirely funded by the sales of recycled refunked furniture and recycled second hand furniture items, if you have any items you wish to donate please give us a call and we will happily arrange for a collection.

After a crazy weekend, i think we are all back on the ball..

Signage is currently in city signs printers for a bargain price.. and to think we were going to hand paint it too!!!.....

A few new additions this weekend, one from a nice chap from Spennymore who has given us a china cabinet that needs transformed, and one of us has saved 2 small 60's coffee tables from the rubbish.... which have already been snapped up by one of our quick handed designers.

Its amazing what some people throw out..

New fabrics arrived this morning that we are really happy with, also we have another new member joining "John from Gateshead" who has a art and design degree and some woodworking skills finger crossed he wont be scared off on his first tour of studio chaos on Thursday..

Its only pre opening mess!! luckily he seems to understand we are a bit hectic getting everything together.

On a personal level; i am having a trauma with a chest of drawers.. that just isn't working for me... While funnily Peter has sprung a couple of cool spray jobs on some tatty old reproduction furniture that now looks good enough for any modern house..

Signs agreed... Extra space found, New Designer coming on board :-)

We have finally opted out of the old fashioned way of sign writing... as we were running out of space!!.. so many pieces, was taking our creativity away..

So we have found extra storage, and are back on track to be opening again mid June. too much clutter can really dampen creativity!!...

Thank you to a lovely Doctor in Gosforth area today who has kindly donated a mammoth sized sofa. we wish her all the best. (Sadly though this may have put an end to our free / favour sofa collections!!, it was alot of hard work)....

Finally thanks to a great donation in Wideopen who has given us some fantastic pieces that need very little work to turn around, and may have already found a new home with a couple with a new born on the way.

New member this week is H who plans to be doing pieces form home, keep your eyes peeled for some examples of her funky work due to be coming soon.
