Finished "Share Your Thoughts" Bedroom Cabinet

During this year's Ouseburn Festival, we've given you an opportunity to "Share Your Thoughts" and write them on our painted white cabinet. We were absolutely amazed and happy to see, how well this project has been received and how much fun some of you have had... 

Ouseburn Festival has finished and our cabinet is now also completed and ready. Final result is shown on the photos below. Cabinet will be available for viewing in our shop for next three months, so if you didn't make it this weekend you will still have a chance to take a look and read all the notes left by others... 

We would be also happy to hear your thoughts on what we should do with the cabinet after exhibiting it in the shop... We were thinking of selling it at the auction (preferably local) and donating all profits to selected charity! However if you wish to have this item in your own home or studio please let us know and as long as we can raise some money for a good cause, we would be happy to see it go...

Ouseburn Festival 2013

We had an amazing time at this year's Ouseburn Festival. And as usual there was great amount of people visiting local area and having fun with their friends and family. Fantastic Photo Shoot

Yet another time we have been asked to lend some of our furniture to be a part of a photo session. Our old friend Emily Willis, who had couple of her designed pieces in our shop in Ouseburn and presently works as gallery curator in Biscuit Factory, was organizing funky vintage photo shoot and thought we may have some items, which could be used for this purpose. Photo shoot took place in the old train station and very talented photographer, Sean Elliott,  captured amazing character of the place in all images. Most beautiful part of the photos, in our eyes, is color and light, playing very subtle role in whole arrangement. Great work and gosh, what a results... New Press Entry @ Refunk Your Junk

Beautiful homes...

We are always happy, when our customers are happy... We are even happier, when they decide to come back for more... But we are over the moon, when they become friends and results of our work are as beautiful as that... We have just received those amazing images from Frankie and Alex, which show off their amazing and incredibly warm home. We are proud to say, that pieces shown on the pictures (pine dresser and dining table) have been purchased in our shop and our latest project for Frankie was this amazing painted white Queen Anne's style dressing table (mirror has been customised and added by Frankie though - looks fab!) We also need to give credit and round of aplause to Alex - amazingly refurbished steps on the photo are his own project and again - looks great!

Egg Chair

Here we have brand new in our stock, 1970's retro vintage green vinyl easy chair - egg chair. Designed by Swedfurn Mobler. Those chairs can be quite dangerous - once you sit in it, you will not want to get up ;-) They are just soooo comfortable! Love them!why don't you pop in to our shop and have a go yourself?

We are very impressed with photography art work of local artist Arthur Smith. His passion for "Unusual and Un-loved" results in amazingly intriguing images - unusual places and scenery. Great part of his work are objects found on back lanes or skips - amazing series of lonely mannequin are one of our favourites. We are happy to let you know, that some of his work and prints are available in our studio. Newest print in the shop shown on the picture below!

Recyle Your Furniture & Refunk Your Junk

Exciting team based furniture recycling initiative.

We are all relatively new to Blogging, but feel this is possibly the best way to keep yourselves and our team up to date on what is going on, some of us pass like ships in the night only seeing half finished tables, and pots of paint that have been moved since our last studio visit.
